I'm going to state full disclosure I wasn't here for this conversation these are the notes I took from someone who took notes who were there:
Names: Sir Sampson Argyle and Sir Conrad Pennington
The Knights of Chaos serve the prophecy to the point where they will go against superiors in order to fufill the prophecy.
They wanted to aid in helping find the princess but want to do it if what they are asked to do doesn't go agains tthe prophecy.
If we didn't go and rescue the princess the Knights of Chaos would have tried to enlists someone else to do it.
The Prince of Verloren (The artist formally known as Prince Cassius Keswick) knows who the Knight of Chaos are.
The Prince of Verloren MIGHT have authority over the princess as a direct desendant.
A chapter of the prophecy was quoted- Chapter 7: People who become immortal give up their leadership.
The Knights of Chaos do not have a physical copy of the prophecy, they have years of it passed down by word of mouth.
These two became Knights of Chaos because their knighthood had the ability to create new knights.

These two became Knights of Chaos because their knighthood had the ability to create new knights. Quick note on this, they each seemed to have some sort of special dispensation to do this, but the mechanism might vary knight to knight and it doesn't seem to encompass adding people to their ranks beyond the number of them that exist at any given time. In other words, they seem to pass down their knighthoods, but not create new ones.
